Laney Punarate is a Artist Designer based in New York. Her focus is the con- ceptual behind the art work and design. She believes that the work that has an idea can always go big and beyond. Therefore, she is passionate about the fashion world as well, art direction for fashion is her core. Her work is expressive, and she wants the audience to get something from it when seeing her. She believes that her work must make people feel something. Born in Thailand, she grew up half of her life in New Zealand and is now living in Manhattan. She grew up seeing her dad working in an agency, which gave her a passion for pursuing art since she was a kid. She is outgoing and can’t stop working; spinning class and kickboxing is her passion. I don’t know if she is funny, but people describe her as funny and a workaholic. She loves her family, her birth country, sweet potatoes, fash- ion, working, reading, kickboxing, funny advertisements, her small red Fiat car, and graphic design.
You can find her at the climbing gym, singing alone on the street, at every sandwich shop, in cycling class, in the wood, in the dark, in the bakery choosing her favorite croissant, on Facebook page when she is trying to remember people birthday, on twitter when she is on some k-drama hashtag, in Japanese restaurant waiting for the food, in pilates class fighting for her life, in Fifty Licks ordering her favorite ice cream “Lemon Saffron” and you can find her working all the time.
